Overview
Reconciliation (also called account reconciliation) is the process of matching your bank transactions against your General Ledger (GL) to confirm they align. It helps teams catch discrepancies, identify missing entries, and keep financial records accurate. How reconciliation works in ALK
ALK automates matching using AI. You provide bank data and GL data (via an integration or manual upload). ALK compares both datasets, flags exceptions, and produces an output you can review. There are two ways to provide your data:- Connected accounts: If Acumatica is connected, ALK can pull the required data automatically.
- Manual upload: Upload your bank statement and GL export as files.
Who uses this workflow
This workflow is typically used by finance teams and reconciliation owners supporting period-end close, audit preparation, or ongoing transaction matching.Prerequisites
Before you run your first reconciliation, you need:- An active ALK account with at least Workspace Member access
- Either:
- An Acumatica integration connected, or
- Your bank statement and GL export ready for manual upload
